If watching a derby event has given you an appetite for playing the sport, contact your favourite league and ask them for more info; typically, leagues will have dedicated, often private events for aspiring players.
This small website was started by Branko Collin because a friend of his wanted to know when and where he could check out this roller derby thing he had heard about, and Branko had no one place to point him to.
Another reason is Branko wanted to toy a little with event plugins for WordPress.
This site is not canonical and not aiming to. The organisers of the events are the only ones who can tell you the exact nature, time and place of their events.
In other words:
- My aim is not to be correct.
- My aim is not to be complete.
- If you want to know more about an event, follow the link.
Having said that, I do put some effort in entering and maintaining the event data, it’s just that the only way you can be sure about an event is to check with the league.
From what I understand the Dutch roller derby association is planning to put up their own agenda. When that happens, I expect to retire the site you are looking at now. By all means, start following https://www.rollerderby.nl!

- Only events in or very near the Netherlands.
- ‘Nearby’ means: a short car drive.
- Only public events.
- No private workshops and so on. (I used to publish some, but they’re often only open to participants.)
