UPDATE: this event is being moved to February, but since the venue has already been booked, you can still swing by to "skate, train, hang or scrimmage". If you want to be on-skates, be sure to bring your own skates and safety gear.

They're cooking up something really nice for skaters ánd officials! Mark you agenda if you don't want to miss this. More info soon to be announced.
Most Dutch roller derby leagues take a break in the Summer and start the next season fresh around september. However there may be impromptu events, so do check back now and then.

From 20:00 to 01:00. Location: Electron, Belcrumweg 19, Breda (10 minutes walk from the station). Entrance fee: 5 euro. Skate rental: 5 euro (cash only, limited availability, ID = deposit, you can also BYOS).
As I write this, the time is near that the roller derby players of the Low Countries will swarm out over the globe to mend their broken bones and rest their bruised bodies underneath coconut trees in faraway tropical destinations.
There will still be a bunch of games in July and sometimes players that are jonesing for some derby will organise guerilla games and demos, so definitely keep coming back to this website and to Dutch Roller Derby News' calendar.

The first theatrical release of the documentary about the Dutch National Roller Derby Team. The movie embraces an eventful period in which the players are being prepared through try-outs, practices and matches for the ultimate event, partaking at the world championships in Dallas, USA.
