CANCELLED Halloween Scrimmage 2018
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A LACK OF OFFICIALS
Join us again during the scariest time of the year for the annual Halloween Scrimmage. Channel your inner monster/zombie/ghost or whatever tickles your fancy and dress up in an awesome Halloween costume. Then join the horror fight in an exciting Sur5All game with coed and female-only teams.
Doors open: 15:00
First whistle: 16:00
Venue clean of bodies and blood: 18:00
End: 21:00
Detailed time schedule for the teams will follow later.
There will be two poules: poule 1: women (3 teams, each team 5 skaters) and poule 2: coed (3 teams, each team 5 skaters).
Don't be a scaredy-cat but be there!!!
Rockcity Rollers ending of the season: Sur5al
For our Season End Event we will have an exciting Sur5al and to top it off and fill up those bellies, a tasty BBQ!
Players from Nijmegen, Groningen and The Hague will team up in co-ed and ladies-only teams and join the Rockcity Rollers in the Sur5al fight.
So mark your calendar at Saturday 23 June. You don’t want to miss this party!

"Dear everyone! We are very sad and sorry to say that we are forced to cancel the Sur5al. We simply do not have enough officials to make this event happen."
Rotterdam's Sur5al last year was so nice, they wanted to organise it twice! This is a tournament form in which many small teams face off against each other for one jam per possible match-up. Points are awarded for wins, draws and lead jammer status, and the team with the most points wins the Sur5al.

“Sur5al is a one day roller derby challenge with up to 15 teams of 5 playing each other just once throughout the day. Each jam last for 2 minutes there’s no calling off the jam, 5 points are awarded to the winning team, 2 points for a draw and nothing for a loss, 1 point is also awarded to the lead jammer.”"
